I LOVE the REI Habanera bag I bought a few years ago- I sleep really cold but it usually does the trick for me (3 season camping in Colorado, though occasionally I've had to put a blanket over myself on colder car camping nights). Unfortunately it's too big for backpacking (weight AND bulkiness). I took my husband's REI Igneo on my last trip (July and ~11,000 ft) and froze all night long, even with a liner, good sleeping pad, baselayers, socks, hat, puffy coat at my feet, etc. Can you recommend a good bag to have on rotation for backpacking that will keep me toasty? I don't mind carrying weight if it means I'll be warm, but I couldn't fit the Habanera in my pack, even with a compression sack. Thanks in advance!
