I'm a local in the Oklahoma City area looking for a way to fundraise to get enough money for some trash grabbers, trash buckets, gloves and enough money to take trash to the local landfill a few times: as well as somewhere to look for volunteers to help clean up. Just wanted to start a little service project in the OKC area that could possibly become a regular thing! Any suggestions help!

@Zyquedelik Thanks for reaching out and for wanting to help protect the outdoor spaces we all love!
We reached out to our team in the Oklahoma City store and they were excited to hear that you are interested in getting some much needed help at Lake Olverholser. REI has partnered with two non-profit organizations: the Oklahoma City Boathouse Foundation as well as Keep Oklahoma Beautiful that would be tremendous resources for the kind of work you are looking to do. Our store Outreach team is currently working on getting a volunteer clean up project at Lake Olverholser as well! We encourage you to reach out to those non-profits and stop by the REI store to connect with other people who would like to support you and your mission.
Thank you for fighting for the outdoors, I hope this helps!
At REI, we believe time outside is fundamental to a life well lived.
