Winter Boots for Hiking and Snowshoes

I'm going on a trip to Yellowstone NP in Jan.  I need some good winter boots.  I wear an 11 1/2 W Men's.  Merrell and Keen my most recent non winter boots.  Been happy with both.  Would like something that is also waterproof.  I've never snowshoed before so I have not idea what I should look for.  What do you recommend?  Preferably something in stock at the Washington DC or Bailey's Crossroads VA stores.  I like to try on boots before buying.  Thanks.

I like the Oboz Bridger - the insulated version.

I only see a ladies version on REI.  Can you suggest another site?

I have enjoyed about 10 years of use from my North Face Snowfuse Boots.  Worked many times in Yellowstone walking and on snowmobiles. I took them snowshoeing in Yosemite as well, no blisters, no cold, no water.

Do these boots match their advertised size?  Noticed a few complaints about them being on narrow side?   Trying to decide if I can get away with ordering them online.

Thanks
