Snowboarding, skiing and snowshoeing (Denver Area)

We are coming out to go snowboarding, skiing and snowshoeing and I am seeking advise on ideas and places for us to go.  The two others are an adult(skiing) and a 14yr old girl (snowboarding) both are newer at boarding and skiing and both have never been snowshoeing before.   I’ve been both skiing and snowshoeing before but I am seeking ideas for some good places to go.  We are staying near Idaho Springs.

@Diver2003 Thanks for reaching out!

I just wanted to let you know that I added your location to the title of your post to see if that generates some expertise from the community. Additionally, you might want to post your question to the Denver Board to get some local perspective.

I hope you have a great day, thanks!

At REI, we believe time outside is fundamental to a life well lived.

Loveland to ski.  Close to Idaho Springs and has great terrain.  Many great places to snowshoe near IS. Stevens Gulch, East Portal (a favorite), Herman Gulch.  But make sure you check the current avalanche conditions.
