When snowshoe running, I tend to get quite wet in the rear and crotch area from the snow that inevitably gets kicked up in the back. Unfortunately, the most appropriate tights/pants I've located have front panel protection only. Any suggestions?
Hi @Mrdster,
The only way to keep perfectly dry is to wear a waterproof pant, or a long waterproof jacket that would cover your backside fully. Waterproof pants can sometimes be a bit bulky for running, but here are two that have a slimmer fit that might be more appropriate:
Outdoor Research Helium Rain Pants: An extremely lightweight and packable pant that has a slim cut.
You might also look into the Helium Jacket for an option if you want to keep your same pants/tights and wear a coat with a longer drop.
Salomon Bonatti Race Waterproof Pants: These fully waterproof pants also come with reflective tape to be seen in lower light.
Hope this helps!
