This is a brand new model and chances are nobody has skied them yet, as they became available at the end of the last season, and some lengths will be up for sale only this fall. It is a version of their regular Manti skis which are heavier and presumably more damp. However, they shaved a lot of weight and in 181 cm length and 104 mm underfoot they appear ridiculously light. Voile skis are generally well-built and the technology keeps developing, so I guess they know what they are doing.
If there are any experienced tourers, I'd like to hear your opinion on these, i.e. expected behavior on poor snow, breakable crust and recommended bindings and boots. At first glance this looks like a device that I am missing for softer days (won't say "powder" given the trends in Sierras)
