Marker Kingpin 13 Alpine Touring Binding

Hi,

Can you tell about any differences between the 2019/2020 and the 2020/2021 Marker Kingpin 13 Alpine Touring binding? Besides price and color  :^)

Hi @barthur - Thanks for the question! The 2020/2021 bindings feature 2-spring toes, based on Alpinist technology, to save 80g per toe without sacrificing any performance. In comparison, the 2019/2020 bindings have a 6-spring setup.

Thanks for the reply. As someone just starting out, and needing to buy a lot of gear, the 2019/2020 might be a good choice.

I don't have any trips planned yet. I've always wanted to get into touring and with potential Covid restrictions at resorts, this might be a good time.
