Heated base layers?

I wear a battery-heated jacket, battery-heated ski boots, and Marmot toaster capris under my heavily insulated snow pants when I ski.  I try to keep myself warmest by skiing hard and challenging trails, but my bottom still is often nearly frozen after skiing.  Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for a freezing cold okole?

Do you wear wool baselayers or another fabric? Once I figured out my wool game I haven't been cold since.

Thanks for the suggestion!  The Marmot toasters have a down layer, so I thought that might be warmest, but I'll have to try the wool.  Do you have a brand that you recommend that isn't too itchy?  I know Ibex used to do wool without it being itchy, but they're out of business now.
