Can I replace the straps on an old pair of MSR Denali Snowshoes?

I have an old pair of MSR Denali snowshoe I bought over 20 yrs ago, still in great condition except for the straps, can straps be replaced?

@Rai21

Thanks for reaching out!

MSR does sell replacement straps for their pre-2010 snowshoes in two lengths:

You can take a look at the straps on your snowshoes and compare them to those linked above to see if you think they will work. Additionally, you can reach out to MSR's Warranty and Customer Service department if you have specific questions about whether those straps are compatible with your snowshoes.

Hopefully this helps, thanks!

I talked with MSR when I had a rivet break, and sent them in for repair.  They came back with new everything except the deck.  No charge.  They seem to really stand by their product.  Mine were also quite aged.  The updated strapping system is a great improvement.

Same here, @johnt ; MSR is great with replacement parts and repair work. They don't want their stuff in a landfill. I've been using their tents, snowshoes, and stoves for over 30 years. They have often insisted on warranty coverage, even when I'd already confessed to being at fault for damages: broken tent poles, worn out tent-flies, broken snowshoe bindings, bent stove-parts...
