Northwest Nature and Health Symposium | University of Washington | October 30
We invite and welcome you to the third annual all-day symposium. As professionals and community leaders we continue to explore our common goals and collective strategies related to the human health benefits of contact with nature. We recognize that we must amplify access and equity in all that we do. In this spirit, our sessions bring an equity lens. This year our sessions focus on nature through decolonizing data, creating intentional community organizations, as a buffer against health disparities, and through history, culture, and therapy.
This year’s symposium will include a buffet lunch keynote with Dr. J. Drew Lanham and an afternoon interactive demonstration focused on horticultural therapy.
