Building a legacy of tradition with your kids

I'm headed up to my land this weekend and am super stoked to hide some goodies out for my kids to find and it got me thinking about our other traditions. Always getting ice cream after a day that filled with toil (Hiking or planting trees). Making quesadillas for them when it's way too dark to be cooking (my fav, holler for my recipe!). Telling them that there is an ice cream salesperson at the top of every peak if we JUST make it in time (And then telling them I forgot my cash). Singing a particular campfire song when they bring friends along.

Do you all have any outdoor traditions with your kiddos? (Holiday or otherwise)

two immediately come to mind, decorating Christmas cookies every year, and roasting marshmallows around the backyard fire pit.
