I am new to this group. I live in Colorado. Just finished the first 104 miles of the Colorado Trail for my 60th birthday. I plan to finish the trail, bit by bit, by the time I am 70. I love backpacking and I'm always looking for ways to make it lighter so I can keep going for a long time.

Hi @L1peterson - Welcome to the community! It's great to hear of the miles you have put in on the Colorado Trail. Nice work!
You are in a great place to connect with other backpackers, Coloradans, and those who are passionate about the outdoors! The topic of having a lighter backpacking setup comes up often in this community, so we are hopeful you'll gain some valuable knowledge. We suggest taking a look around the backpacking board and the Colorado category to see if there are any conversations that look like they'd be fun to join in on. With your experience, there is certainly expertise you could share that would be helpful to others on their journeys!
