I'm a 67 year old, female, with three dogs, who loves the outdoors. I'm committed to taking a couple of trips a year to new places, that I've always wanted to see and hike. This month I'm headed to Sedona and I'm very excited. Sadly, the dogs are not coming with me, they will be enjoying their Sr. life in the luxury of their home. In my area, there are few areas to hike, but lots of areas to walk.
Hi @365Days - Welcome to the community!
It is great to hear your commitment to getting out and traveling. I have not yet traveled to Sedona, but from all of the stories I've heard and photos I've seen, it's definitely on my list! I hope your trip is wonderful. Do you have any hikes or excursions lined up or are you going to make a plan once you're there?
You may enjoying looking through the thread on outdoor adventure goals, plans and dreams for 2021, where many people shared exciting and inspiring plans for the year. Our hiking board is also another great place for asking questions, sharing your know-how, and telling fun stories from time out on your hikes and walks.
Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself. We're happy to have you here and look forward to the conversations ahead!
Thank you for the welcome and the tips. I've just decided to go (yesterday) so a lot of fun planning to look forward to in the next couple of weeks. I found a conversation here that talked about suggested hikes in Sedona so I'm looking at those.
