Massachusetts is a beautiful spot to get outside. I'm in Vermont and have loved being able to visit there in the past. Once you are ready to get out onto some trails, this is also a good place to ask for hike recommendations. There are other MA locals who could hopefully weigh in with their favorites.
Do you have any questions in particular to start out with? There are many members here in the community that have lots of hiking expertise to share. You might also find some helpful information on the Hiking and Massachusetts boards, which are both quite busy with new posts.
