I'm 5'6, 185 lbs, with a 42" chest and 36" waist. I want to find a replacement for my well-used Columbia full zip fleece, but lately, they all seem to have longer arms and length than in the past. Can anyone recommend a brand/model that might fit me?
Hey there @aerialobserver!

In doing some research to answer your question, it would appear that 35” is a pretty standard arm length across the board for fleeces we sell. Brands like Columbia, Arc’teryx, Patagonia, and Kuhl, and even REI were at 35” in the size large, which would be the best fit considering the chest measurement you provided.
The only brand that came in under 35” was The North Face. Here is a link to some of the North Face fleece jackets that you might consider.
Hope this info is helpful!
I recently purchased Team 365 Colorblock Snag-Protection Jacket, I observed that its sleeve shorter than any other brand but it is true to the size as they mentioned in the size chart, and its sleeves fit so perfectly than any other brand, have a look https://www.ustradeent.com/mens-command-colorblock-snag-protection-quarter-zip-2788.html
howdy! I think we have almost the same exact measurements LOL. REI might not like this answer: but try outdoor resale shops. Styles from the late 80's/90's fit me better. It's cheaper and keeps products out of the landfills. You might find something you like. My favorite fleece jacket is a 1980's REI staff gift that someone donated in Colorado Springs 🙂 fits great.
@Former community member we're totally fine with that suggestion, especially as it support the concepts of sustainability and circular economy!
