How do women's Merrell hiking boots fit?

Hi

I need to get a new pair of hiking boots and am looking at the Merrell MQM Ace Mid waterproof hiking boots. I am wondering if these are true to size or if they run large or small?

@Coffroth thanks for reaching out! We have found that, depending on the style, Merrell shoes and boots run either true to size or sometimes a little short. We often recommend sizing up 1/2 size, especially if you're between sizes, to accommodate their sizing, plus socks, insoles (as applicable) and and feet swelling that may occur while hiking. I have had a number of Merrell waterproof shoes and hiking boots and go a 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size as I find they tend to run a little small.
