Hiking with disabled

I'm looking at making a product for disabled hikers. I was thinking of something like a trekking crutch, but wasn't sure what kind of things I would need to include in it. Some advice would be really helpful. Thank you

You've got a pretty broad topic here, and "disabled" is a fairly vague term.  Right now, adjustable trekking poles are available and are quite handy for those with moderate disabilities.  what precisely is a trekking crutch?

one helpul addition to a trekking pole might be some sort of compartment that could contain meds or other small, useul items...
