Advice: replacement wrist straps for trekking poles.

I need to find replacement wrist straps for an approx. 5 yr old REI Traverse trekking pole.  The strap appears to be generic, similar to many other straps i've seen, and has a 3/4 inch rubber thingamajig on one end.  Any ideas where to look for this part?

@Markieboy Thanks for reaching out!

REI trekking poles are manufactured by Komperdell, a company based in Austria. We have reached out to their customer service team on your behalf to find out if replacement wrist straps are an item that is available to purchase. We will circle back to you as soon as we hear back from them.

Hope this helps, thanks!

Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out, although we're sorry you're having this issue with your trekking pole. We've had a couple of threads asking for replacement parts for trekking poles, so we've made the contact information for Komperdell public. You can read through another thread, REI PeakUL Trekking Pole Replacement Parts, or send your inquiry to:

John, with many people looking for this type information, it may be worth REI creating a pull down support link that reflects partner customer service contact information.  🙂  R/Gary

I was always thinking, folks could just call komperdell directly - in Austria, but with a US presence..no problem!

Now, if we can get komperdell to start making replacement rain flies (fly's?)...
