I love listening to podcasts on my commute and on the run, and am always looking to broaden my listening.
Any recommendations for outdoorsy podcasts? (BTW - REI's Wild Ideas Worth Living podcast is already in the mix).
For the Love of Climbing
The Sharp End
The Dirtbag Diaries by Duct Tape then Beer and Outside Podcast from Outside Mag. are in my cue with Wild Ideas Worth Living. Looking forward to hearing other rec’s too!
@sara All of the above plus:
The Adventure Podcast
MTN Meister
The Cutting Edge
Backpacking Light Podcast
Afterglow
Alpinist
And three others that sometimes have topics I’m interested in but not as frequently:
G.O. Get Outside
By Land
The First Forty Miles
The First Forty Miles is no longer doing new podcasts but you can search through the history of all of their shows and find great content. I miss their show.
These are some of my favorite:
She Explores
Women on the Road
Saftey Third
Athletes Unfiltered
The Adventurepreneur Playbook
I’ve been digging the Jack Mountain Bushcradt podcast. Focuses on their outdoor school teaching primitive skills, but the hosts are funny and engaging, so it has a good “hanging out friends” vibe.
The Sharp End is excellent, as well. Nothing like stories about how things can go sideways to learn how to be safe.
The Enormocast
Alpanist
Basecamp
Adventure sports Podcast
The Run-out are all great climbing podcasts.
