Anyone want to talk about how getting outside has helped them with their mental health?

For those interested, The Nature Fix by Florence Williams dives into the science of how getting outside is good for all of us.
Whoa, this book looks awesome. Super interested in learning about the science behind our need to be in nature. Thanks @WeekendWarrior !
It's well known that exercise induces endorphins. Not everyone is into nature (although it's hard to imagine a non-outdoorsy person being on this forum), but I certainly think it has healing effects. I haven't struggled with longterm mental health, but when I'm feeling down, a hike with my dog lifts my spirits like nothing else.
I do believe it helps a lot
