Hi there I bought a pair of pants from a local thrift store they seem warm but I want to make sure that they are appropriate for fall/winter weather. The tag on the leg says 851858, 15628, 372249, 41840, Mexico 12/30/13,S 14-1. Thank you for any help. Heather
Thanks for reaching out!
Unfortunately, those numbers aren't turning up anything in our system. Would it be possible for you to post a photo of the pants? Perhaps also the tags you're mentioning? That will help us narrow down the options and potentially get you some more info. Typically, underneath/behind the tag that has the size on it, will be a smaller tag with a six digit number. If you find that tag and can send along a photo that would be great.
Thank you for taking pictures of the tags! It looks like you purchased the REI Airflyte Running Pants. These pants were definitely designed for cool weather running and hiking. They are designed to have a slim, tighter fit which helps keep you warm, and wick away moisture from your sweat. It also looks like there's some lighter panels in the knees which typically help with extra moisture wicking that comes from behind the knee.
Hope this helps!
