Hi,

I am 6.4 tall with a rather long back.

Looking for an avalanche backpack that fits better than the regular ones (they are too short!). As I am a freerider on day trips I prefer a light one with low volume.

Would be grateful for any suggestion - no matter where available in the world!

Any tall backcountry skiers/boarders around who might have an idea?

Hey @Tj0484 ,

Finding the right backpack can be super tricky! Being 5'11" and a woman, I feel your pain in the tall department. LOL

The best way to ensure a backpack will fit is to try it on in store, but that isn't always an option. That's when measurements become really important. We have a few backpacks that have a longer torso length and may work well for you.

Both of these backpacks will fit a torso length of 17-22 inches and a waist size of 24-56 inches.

Here is an article with information on how to measure your torso length:

Hopefully this helps out a bit!
