I'm looking for the warmest possible boots, primarily for working outside, but also for just keeping hypersensitive feet warm. Winter OBOZ are great; I love them, but my feet are already freezing after even a short time -- so truly hypersensitive. A pair of old Columbia boots (no brand name) are ok with superfeet and felt inserts, but they are clunkier than I like and feel like boats walking about. I hoping there is a warmer, somewhat sleeker possibility out there.
@DC3 thanks for reaching out to our community with this question! Here are a few suggestions, recognizing that how well they fit will depend on the length, width, and volume of your feet.
- Keen Revel IV - waterproof, rated to -40, and less clunky than some of the bigger winter boots
- Kamik Iceland - waterproof and rated to -40
- Columbia Minx Shorty - waterproof and rated to -25
- Keen Terradora II - waterproof and rated to -25
Although it's likely you already know this, make sure you're wearing warm, non-cotton socks within these warm winter boots!
We hope these suggestions get you started!
