I bought a horse in February- I board him 45 min from my house and the drive up is actually pretty beautiful and inspiring- mountains everywhere. Going to see him gets me out of the house and there are trails off property so I can still get into “the woods”, since I live in the city it’s been a great way to have a place to go and I work out with him. I need to add back in some yoga (let that expire) on account of the expense of a horse but just bought one of those head stand stands for inversions and I’m hoping that having one will kick start my yoga again. I also have biked across 520 bridge (beautiful lake washington) and walk up and down my hill to the BG trail. These are easy ways to get exercise right out of my door.
