Come join us on National Public Lands Day, Saturday, September 28th in partnership with Jefferson County Open Space and PrAna as we work to restore one of the local gems of the Evergreen community inside the Elk Meadow Park. Volunteers will work to restore an area braided with trails by seeding, mulching, installing erosion control measures and transplanting native species. This will be part of a 3-project series at this site aimed at engaging the local community in stewardship. Work will be suitable for new and experienced volunteers alike, no experience necessary as all crews will work with trained volunteer leaders.
