Planning on getting started from the eastern-term or Polebridge if  the park is closed, as soon as the snow allows. I'm not going to try and thru-hike the whole length as I'm 62 and want to enjoy the experience as much as I can. Would like to make Oroville or Ross Lake before next winter. I am a single widower and was thinking it would be nice to share the experience with someone, preferably a woman not too much younger than me. I'm geared up and can't wait. I plan on being in Whitefish mid May. Let me know if your interested.
