To add on to the advice given to you by @REI-CarterC , here are couple of tips for helping to keep your feet warm when sleeping outside in cold temperatures:
- Make sure you are putting dry socks on before bed.
- You want socks that are snug but not too tight. Your best bet for staying warm is good circulation, socks that are too tight, even just a little bit, can have a big impact on how well your blood flows to your feet.
- You can try to add some additional warmth to your sleeping bag by putting a hand/foot warmer by your feet or filling a Nalgene bottle with warm water and putting it in the bottom of your sleeping bag (just make sure the lid is on tight!).
