A couple of years ago we bought a Thule ski rack for 6 skis on the REI garage sale. The rack came with full set of parts except we had only one key for the locks. Recently we have moved and unfortunately, the key was lost. To complicate things, the rack at the time was (and is) installed on the top of the car, and the rack mounts are locked.
Is there any way to order the key replacement (the 3-digit key number is available)? We are very happy with the rack and wish to avoid the scenario of cutting the mounts off to get the rack off the car.
What is the policy of REI o Thule for such situations. I assume the situation is not unique and there should be some standard solution.

You will need to go through Thule directly to address this problem. The keys and locks page on the Thule website may be able to help you find what you are looking for. While we cannot say for certain, it does look like they have services available to get your ski rack sorted out.
