Thanks for the information. I just spent about $300 getting ready for hikes in New England as the pandemic eases. I spent none of it at REI, and I was able to get what I needed from Walmart, Amazon, Moosejaw, and direct from makers. REI's foolish attempt to blackmail Facebook into suppressing more speech is teaching me that there are other, often less expensive, places to shop for outdoor gear. I still miss REI, but not as much as I expected. I hope you'll soon stop dabbling in politics and get back to what you know best.
