Does anyone track their macros? I never can decide whether to just ignore them or try to plan for them while backpacking. Between pre-trip meals in the road and post trip celebration meals, I always put on about 2-3 pounds even when I burn 3-4000 calories a day. Weird!? Maybe it’s all the salt in the dehydrated meals

When you’re putting your body through a rigerous hike, I wouldn’t worry so much about the macros, more on how you’re fueling your body! Make sure you’re getting some healthy carbs and protein in during the celebration! You’re body totally need to be replenished- give it what it really needs, but give your soul the beer too 😉
