Where is there good fishing in the north shore of Massachusetts?

Hi. I recently moved to the north shore this past fall. I've been trying to find fishing spots but nothing looks too promising. I am definitely spoiled being from New Hampshire with all the bodies of water that we have access to. I strictly fresh-water fish, never saltwater. Any areas inside the city (Boston) and an hour around it that anyone knows of? I just am aware of Sluice pond in Lynn, and Pilings pond in Lynnfield really, maybe a few other places. Never of these two have great access for fishing from the shoreline.

Let me know if anyone knows of any juicy spots.

Two dozen worms... any hooks? Two dozen worms... Any hooks? Any hooks?

Hi Ladylunker, I’m also a NS angler and have a couple spots to try.  Since Lunker is in your name I will assume your preference is Bass.  There aren’t many spots to catch Smallies but try Putnamville reservoir off 35 in Danvers. There are places to launch a kayak and it hold largemouth too.  Others to check out are Stiles in Boxford, Pentucket, or even Johnson’s pickerel pond.
