The Solo Saris Bike Rack is intended to fit a broad range of vehicle makes and models. You should be just fine fitting it to a Subaru Forester, however, you will want to make sure the model year of your car is a match with this rack. It appears that older model Foresters (pre-2014) will work with this rack while the newer models do not. You can check your model with the Saris Rack fitter tool.
As with all car rack installations you will want to make sure you follow the directions carefully and make sure your bike will fit on the rack. If your bike has a step through frame or a sloped top tube you will need an adapter, such as these, to work with this rack.
