The 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

I purchased a bike light (Niterider Sabre 110.) On the first ride, the light became detached from the mounting strap and fell off of the bike. It was lost somewhere along the road. I still have the mounting strap but not the light.  Either the hinge failed or the little detent that should keep the light from sliding out of the housing failed.  I'll never know.

Of course, I was not satisfied with the light.  The 100% satisfaction guarantee, though not in writing, evidently requires that you have the entire product.  Make sense except when the failure causes you to lose half the product.  CATCH 22.

My request for credit was denied by both the store manager and the website chat.

the store normally requires you have everything to return.

how did you pay for this?  if by credit card, you can check to see if the benefits accidental breakage which is normally covered up to 90 days for cards that have it.
