I just got my first new bike (ADV 2.1) in 20 years and I am very excited to get out on the Interurban Trail (I'm in SE Wisconsin) that is just a couple miles from my house. It's not terribly wide, comfortably supports two-way traffic, but it's often quite busy.
I am looking for what people have been doing for masks and to keep safe while huffing and puffing away on their bikes. Have you found your regular day-to-day masks allowing enough airflow? Do they stay in place? What has worked and what doesn't?

@josepilove The solution I've found is to wear a lightweight, synthetic neckie while riding, and pull it up when passing or interacting with others. Personally, I find typical masks very restrictive of my airflow, so I opted for something made of more breathable material.
I reccomend taking a peek at these neckies from one of my favorite ultimate frisbee brands: https://ca.vcultimate.com/collections/neckies. They sit comfortably around my neck to offer lightweight sun protection and it's easy enough to pull it up over my face when needed. Hope this helps!
