They should be pretty compatible if what you mean by caliper brakes is more precisely called "side-pull" or "dual pivot".
If, on the other hand, your brakes are actually either linear-pull (aka V brakes) or cantilever brakes, these may not work as they mount differently and/or need a set of convex/concave washers to be able to align them properly to the rim.
If you're still not sure, best to consult with your local store.
