Can the Thule T2 Classic bike rack be modified to carry additional bikes?

Hello. I have a Thule T2 Classic 2 - 2"bike rack, circa 2014. Now I'd like to extend it so it can accommodate a 3rd bike. 

Is that possible? I don't want to have to buy a new rack.

Thule does make a product with this thought in mind!  The Thule T2 Classic add-on will transform your rack with the capability of transporting up to 4 bikes.
