Bike touring Fire Towers

Has anyone ridden from fire tower to fire tower.  Where? And where did you find good referrences? I haven't had good luck with Google.  Thanks.

No problem! They aren't fire towers but Montana also has a bunch of National Forest Service Cabins that you can rent that are very affordable and many you can ride to. Those you might be able to link together into a couple days of riding. Maine Huts and Trails has as really sweet option that is run all year. They will move your gear for you from hut to hut and make food for you too.

I don't know of anywhere you can ride from fire tower to fire tower but there are spots where you can ride to a single tower and even rent it for the night. Garnet Mountain Fire Lookout in MT is fantastic. Check it out.

Paul,

Thanks for the info.  That is what I was looking for, someone to give me a specific name and location.  It's very much appreciated.

Happy Touring!
