@975aels do you know what your brother wants in this bike computer? They can run from $20 - $700 depending on what is included and are capable of doing. If he just wants speed and distance while riding there are a few computers from CatsEye and Bontrager that would be good and relatively cheap. If he wants to be able to save rides, and export them with GPS tracks then a Garmin Edge would be a good option. I use an older Edge 520 and really like it. I have the speed and cadence sensors on my road bike and a speed sensor on my mountain bike. It can also calculate speed from gps without a dedicated sensor, but it would allow for him to capture other metrics like heart rate as well.
