Hello Northeast Ohio!

Hi everyone!

My name is Ethan and I’ve been with REI for almost 5 years and moved to Cleveland two years ago to bring REI to this awesome outdoor community.

I am a native of Ohio and graduate of nearby Kent State University.  I have traveled to a lot of places but Northeast Ohio has always held a special place in my heart. 

You can find me paddling the Cuyahoga River or out on Lake Erie.  I can also be found hiking in any one of our beautiful metro parks, or logging miles in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. 

I’m so very excited to have this platform where our local community can connect and empower each other to get outside in one of the best outdoor communities in the country.

Hey @REI-EthanS! Awesome you brought REI to NE Ohio, it brought some joy to my parents knowing there is now a closer option instead of the Central Ohio locations.

I wont give you too much grief on being a Golden Flash, I am a Zip haha. Now we are located in Central Ohio away from the NE beauty. Hope to see you on the trails up north!
