Thanks for checking in on the Bat Cave Sunset Kayak Tour! This is one of my favorite tours that we offer at REI. As @REI-AlyS mentioned, all of our classes and trips remain cancelled for now. The Nickajack Dam Recreation Area is also closed (as of May 7th). The good news is, the bats that emerge from the cave at Nickajack Dam at sunset (truly the highlight of the paddle tour!) are present from May-early October. If REI's day tours have not resumed during that time frame, there is a great viewing platform at the Nickajack Dam Recreation Area where you can see the bats emerge from the cave. I would absolutely encourage you to check that out once TVA reopens their recreation areas!
Hopefully that is helpful!
At REI, we believe time outside is fundamental to a life well lived.
