What is the best 3 Person Tent for the Boundary Waters Canoe Area?

Hi,  I was looking to get a new 3 person tent used primarily for BWCA and some car camping.  My 2 kids and I won't be doing super long portages, so I am not too concerned about the weight, but it would be nice if it could pack down nicely for putting in the BWCA packs.  I would be looking primarily for 3 season (no winter camping right now) What is the best 3 person/3 season tent out there?

Thanks

Hi @RK2 - Thanks for reaching out! We love hearing that you and your kids have some BWCA plans lined up. There are some great tent options available that should work well with your trip logistics. We suggest taking a look at the following:

If you're looking for a tent that truly holds three people and some gear, then you need at least a 4-person tent.  A 5-person tent will work better, but don't get bigger than 6 if you're worried about size, weight & packability.
