What adhesive should I use to re-bond some straps to my REI Quarter Dome Rain Fly?

Greetings,  We have a quarter dome T 3 and the tie-back straps have de-bonded from the rain fly.  What is the recommended adhesive to reattach these straps?  Thanks!

@Jdigjudy Thanks for your patience as we tracked down this information for you!

For making a repair like this we recommend a product like Aquaseal UV Repair Adhesive by Gear Aid. Not only will it bond strongly to nylon, but it is also flexible and resists degradation from UV light. When you go to apply the adhesive, you'll want to make sure the location on your rainfly is clean and dry and doesn't have any residue from the previous glue left on it. You can do this by gently spot cleaning with some isopropyl alcohol and a rag. You may also need to apply some tent seam sealant as well if the seams on your rainfly have been impacted.

Hopefully this helps, thanks!
