That being said, we are able to speak to some best practices for the general storage of items like your shelter. Here are a couple of the top considerations:
Make sure your shelter is completely dry before putting it away for the season. Allowing it to air dry will help prevent mold, mildew, corrosion, rust and other issues impacting long term performance.
Keeping it in a cool, dry environment. Heat and moisture are really hard on gear so any time you can keep those away from your shelter the better off you'll be.
While it may not apply to your shelter, if you're able to achieve storage of your product without compressing the fabric that can be beneficial. Creasing the material and the pressure that can be applied when stuffing it into a bag can put stress on the fabric and the durable water repellent applied to it.
