Fastest way to dry an REI sleeping pad.

Our camp mats got really wet last night from rain and I wanted to put them near the campfire to dry them out a little before bed but our friends, who are with us, told us that they’d melt. Anyone have a pro tip to dry out these mats really fast without sun?

Definitely don't recommend putting them anywhere near a fire. I've melted way too much gear this way.

Only way is to inflate it and leave it outside for a while. But you'll likely being laying on a wet pad for the evening. If you carry a bandana, you can use that too to wipe it down some.
