I am going to by a 2 person tent for general camping. I want a tent that is "No-See-Um" proof. The Nemo Aurora 2P has the mesh I want. However, I like the Mountain Hardwear Mineral KIng 2P tent, and I am not sure about the mesh on the tent. Anyone know if the mountain hardwear is " No-See-Um" proof?

Hi @macmake - Thanks for bringing this question to the community!
It's great to hear you are gearing up to do some camping! With mesh, you are looking at the "denier rating" to determine how thick the strands are that make up the fabric. The thicker the strands, the more space will be left in between them, which is where those bugs could make their way in.
The Mountain Hardwear Mineral King 2P Tent has a 40-denier rating, which is considered no-see-um proof. The lower that number (listed under Canopy Fabric on our product pages), the smaller the openings in the mesh. 40-Denier is as high as we would recommend to keep those bugs out. These fine strands of fabric are more fragile than tents that have ratings of 75-D or 90-D, but are still designed to hold-up to a normal camping experience.
Hopefully this helps!
