Wet first aid kit — what to replace?

My Adventure Medical Kit got soaked during some recent hiking.

do all the kits contents need to be replaced?

I doubt that all components need replacing.  Much depends on packaging.  Some items, like elastic bandaging, need not be sterile or dry in order to function properly.  Pills and some meds should be dry, so check them out.

My FAK just recently got thoroughly soaked, so I went through a complete inventory - also good timee to check expiration dates, etc.

Agree with @hikermor. Most things can get wet and once they are dry, they're fine. Gauze wouldn't be sterile any more but that's usually not a big deal. Pill-type meds are an exception. My stuff gets wet to varying degrees all the time--using it in the rain, etc...
