The probable increased fragility and the extra cost of the Platinum would not be worth the ~4oz weight savings for me.
I would probably go for the regular Copper Spur UL3 if sharing between two or three people. Carried between two the weight savings of the Tiger Wall is less significant and Copper Spur has some very nice features in addition to being free standing and more robust.
I have a regular 2019 Tiger Wall UL2 for a solo carry palace but it is definitely more annoying to set up that my first gen Copper Spur UL2 was due to the Tiger Wall's semi-freestanding pole structure. The TW's vestibule doors are also a bit on the tight side where the new Copper Spur has the nifty trekking pole awning feature.
