Questions about the Men's REI Magma 15 Sleeping Bag

I have a couple of questions about this sleeping bag.

First, does the outer shell have any type of water resistance treatment?

Second, I am side sleeper, is there an equal amount of insulation on the top and bottom of the bag?

The REI Co-op Magma sleeping bag is treated with a DWR surface treatment, appropriate for minimizing the effects of moisture found in a tent, such as light contact with inner tent wall condensation. In terms of insulation distribution, it has a 60/40% of fill weight down distribution between top and bottom sides.
