Looking for suggestions of warm socks for backpacking and sleeping outside in winter.

What are the warmest socks for sleeping outdoors? New to backpacking and have some great socks for hiking but were not warm enough for sleeping outside during winter months.

To add on to the advice given to you by @REI-CarterC , here are couple of tips for helping to keep your feet warm when sleeping outside in cold temperatures:

• Make sure you are putting dry socks on before bed.
• You want socks that are snug but not too tight. Your best bet for staying warm is good circulation, socks that are too tight, even just a little bit, can have a big impact on how well your blood flows to your feet.
• You can try to add some additional warmth to your sleeping bag by putting a hand/foot warmer by your feet or filling a Nalgene bottle with warm water and putting it in the bottom of your sleeping bag (just make sure the lid is on tight!).
