How do I waterproof a pair of GTX boots?

I bought a pair of Vasque Breeze GTX boots years ago and they’ve started to leak.  What’s the best way to waterproof these?

@Srsamples thanks for reaching out! The current Vasque Breeze boot is a combination of leather and fabric outer with a GTX liner inside - is this the same for the boots you own? Assuming yes, we recommend the Nikwax Fabric & Leather Waterproof Spray. If, however, your boot is full leather, we'd recommend either the Nikwax Nubuck & Suede Spray or the Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather (depending on the type of leather). Hope this helps!

At REI, we believe time outside is fundamental to a life well lived.

@Srsamples Sno-seal or mink oil also works for me.

Rub it in with your fingers really thick and if you want take a blow dryer to it to melt into the product.

leather or nylon, either one, works great.
